  The Gryphons will go home disappointed again losing their 6th straight playoff game in their last 3 appearances. They lost 87-91 to the Paladins. They become the first #1 seed to lose in the first round since season 3 and the first #1 to fail to win one playoff game.

• Gryphons wrap up #1 playoff spot

  The Gryphons wrap up the number one spot in the playoffs for the first time in team history coming from behind to beat the Spikers 111-105.

• Gryphons complete sweep of Pitbulls

  The Gryphons continue to win beating the Pitbulls and winning the series 5-0. The Gryphons are looking to go into the playoffs with the number one slot.

• Gryphons stomp Ice, Emerton catches fire

  Still flirting with triple doubles game and game again, Floyd Emerton scored 28 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists beating the Ice 121-105.

• Gryphons keep pace in standings lead

  With a 103-95 win over the Paladins, the Gryphons keep pace with the Spikers for the league lead in the standings. Floyd Emerton finally had a decent game scoring 28 points with 10 rebounds and 8 assists.

• Gryphons overcome Spikers, Solorio scores big

  It was a 30 point day for Mack Solorio also grabbing 16 rebounds and 4 assists as the Gryphons snapped a 3 game losing streak 111-103 over the Spikers.

• Gryphons win important game over Dragons

  The two leading teams in the standings squared off with the Gryphons coming out on top to take the series lead 2-1. They beat the Dragons 97-81 with Floyd Emerton scoring 22 points with 11 rebounds.

• Gryphons get back on wagon with win

  After 3 losses in a row the Gryphons finally looked like the team they've been beating the Spikers 107-89. Floyd Emerton scored 28 points with 12 rebounds before fouling out.

• Gryphons wild ride ends with loss to Clash

  Floyd Emerton was limited to just 26 minutes due to foul trouble allowing the Clash to take advantage losing 116-125. This ends the Gryphons 7 game winning streak.

• Gryphons win in real team effort

  Led by Floyd Emerton, the Gryphons marched on 121-91 over the Venom with Emerton scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists, rookie Julius Preston scored a career high 37 points with Guadalupe Hanley grabbing 17 rebounds.

• Emerton: Right at home

  

  Building on the great season the Gryphons had last season, the team is poised to be the team to catch this season with Emerton behind the wheels. He is the early favorite for League MVP having an amazing season even flirting with averaging a triple double.

• Gryphons hold on to win 6th straight

  The Gryphons barely held on beating the Spirit 120-119. Floyd Emerton was brilliant as usual scoring 29 points with 11 assists and 7 rebounds in the win.

• Hanley grabs league record 28 rebounds

  The Gryphons continue to pull away from the competition beating the Dragons 109-82. Second season player Guadalupe Hanley pulled in a team and league tying record 28 rebounds for the win.

• Gryphons come from behind to win

  It took a huge comeback and overtime to shake off the Spikers but the Gryphons were able to pull the upset 121-112. Floyd Emerton just missed a triple double with 20 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists.

• Emerton leads Gryphons to win over Clash

  The Gryphons won a close game over the Clash 113-108 leaving no team undefeated for the season. Floyd Emerton had a big triple double with 29 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists while rookie teamate Julius Preston scored an early career and league high 39 points.
