• Paladins prove too much for Gryphons

  Despite Charles Winkel's 37 points, the Gryphons were unable to hold on losing to the Paladins 100-106 to end the teams miracle season.

• Gryphons take game 1

  The Gryphons big 3 put up big numbers for the team as they cruised by the Paladins 118-93. Floyd Emerton scored 20 with 9 boards and 6 assists, Charles Winkel scored 21 with 12 rebounds while Rudolph Jackson scored 23 with 11 boards before fouling out.

• Shocker!

  The Gryphons win 2 straight to take another trip to the championship game 100-87 over the Spirit. It was a total team effort as the Gryphons move on to face the Paladins in the championship game.

• Winkel leads Gryphons to stay alive

  The Gryphons Charles Winkel has been the teams saviour all season and came through again scoring 37 points with 8 boards to lead the team over the Spirit 101-92 to force a game 3 in the first round of the playoffs.

  Charles Winkel led the team as MVP and had the teams only all-star selection

• Gryphons sneak in!

  The Gryphons were able to step it up in the final game set winning their last 4 contests to beat out the Venom for the final playoff spot. They crushed the Spikers 102-68 and will face the Pitbulls in the first round of the playoffs. This is their 8th playoff trip in 9 seasons.

• Gryphons come a step closer to solidifying playoffs

  The Gryphons hit a last second shot to close out the Dragons 77-75. The team is in contention with the Paladins and Venom for the final two playoff spots.

• Gryphons get big win over Ice

  The Gryphons run to the playoffs is still alive with a 108-100 win over the Ice. Rudolph Jackson scored 29 points with 10 boards to lead the Gryphons.

• Gryphons pull key squeaker out over Clash

  The Gryphons needed overtime and 33 points from Charles Winkel to grab the 87-86 win over the Clash. They struggled greatly from outside scoring hitting just 1 out of 25 attempts, the teams worst perimeter shooting performance ever.

• Gryphons score must-win victory over Paladins

  The Gryphons held on to playoff hopes with a 107-100 win over the Paladins to take the series 3-2. Charles Winkel scored a game high 38 points with 7 boards to lead the team.

• Winkel leads Gryphons over Spikers

  Charles Winkel scored 36 points with 16 rebounds to lead the Gryphons over the Spikers 113-97.

• Winkel scores 25 and pulls in 19 boards in loss

  Charles Winkel continued to put up career numbers with 19 rebounds and 25 points, however the Gryphons fell to .500 losing 89-92 to the Dragons.

• Jackson puts up numbers like hasn't since last in a Gryphons uniform

  The ageless Rudolph Jackson put up 33 points, only putting up more in season 13 last time he was a Gryphon. The team however lost to the Spirit 112-116.

• Gryphons ... back??

  The Gryphons have been playing better than anyone would have expected winning now 6 in a row with a 111-98 win over the Dragons. Floyd Emerton scored 23 points with 11 assists to lead the charge.

• Spectacular upset for the Gryphons

  The Gryphons looked great against the reighning and previously unbeaten champion Pitbulls beating them 86-79 to hand them their first loss of the season.
