Wasps finally end losing streak at home
After 6 straight losses, the longest drought of their season, the Wasps finallly got over the hump defeating the Slash 106-98 in a game that saw the Slash take the lead with just 3 minutes left. However the Wasps scrambled and put a string of 8 straight points together to close the game out. The win gives them 9 on the season, 1 more than they finished with last season as rookie coach Ill Jackson and 1st team pick Dudley Cronin have the team in the best shape they have been in. Cronin missed a triple double scoring 10 points with 8 boards and 9 assists while gunner Armand Whyman scored 28 on 10 of 16 shooting.

Rollin' Lizards
The Lizards have been on a roll like never before winning their 7th straight contest to set the franchise record. They lead the league with a 17-5 record just a season after leading the league in the final standings with a 24-11 record. They defeated the Slash 99-97 Tyrone Hamel scoring 26 points and 12 boards while Broderick Kay scored 21 with 9 boards and 8 assists.

Slash blow game late to Wasps
Jeffry Brewington scored a new caareer high 35 points, and the Slash seemed to have the game in their hands, leading for nearly the entire game and by as much as 15 points. Even after the Michael Mattox, who had 25 points put the Wasps up by 2 with 20 seconds left, the Slash had two chances to send the game to OT. First Brewington missed the jumper, then Guillermo Fishburn missed the reverse and the Slash lost their 5th game of the season while the Wasps have now won 2 in row. Nathaniel Kahle was instrumental down the stretch leading the team with 17 boards with his 11 points on the teams way to a franchise record 54 rebounds.

Cloud in familiar form... ease past Slash
The Cloud are back on the horse after a suprising loss to the Badgers, jumping back to beat the Slash by 9 points at home. Both Jared Isaacs and Randall Madera posted over 30 points while the X-Factor Tommie Drey put up an unusual double-double for himself pulling in 13 boards with a career high 11 assists. Caleb Weatherspoon had one for himself with 17 points, 6 boards and 10 assists.
