The 118 have qualified for the Team Tournament! They will go in as the #17 seed out of the field of 32
  • Edward Furbee finishes 3rd in the league in rebounds

  • Jake Lomeli named Team MVP

Jake Lomeli has won the Team MVP award for the 2nd Broncos season.

  • For Championship pride

It all comes down to this game for the Eclipse and Broncos. Both teams have shocked the league by making it this far with the #8 seeded Broncos becoming the lowest seed to win a first round series, and trying to further that by moving into the championship game. The Eclipse, considered a very long shot to even contend in the playoffs, making their first appearance and overcoming all obstacles so far with a 5-2 playoff record.

So far in the series, the home team has won each game which bodes well for the Eclipse who are actually undefeated at home this postseason. The Eclipse are led by Eli Jaycox, Cody Linville, Judson Ibarra and rookie Garret Blosser who can all get hot at any time for the highest scoring team in the league, while the Broncos have solid depth as well led by Jake Lomeli and Bradly Suniga who have both been phenomenal this postseason.

Winner takes all! Who will meet the Moles in the 2nd League II championship?!

  • Eclipse defeat Broncos with key win at home

The #5 Eclipse defeated the #8 Broncos 103-91 and move one win away from the teams first taste of a championship game. They will head back to Broncos court where they hold a 3-0 postseason record and hope to tie things up. Edward Furbee scored 24 with 13 boards in the loss.

  • Lomeli selected as an All-Star

Jake Lomeli has been voted as an all-star for the Broncos. Lomeli averaged 19.9ppg, 7.3rpg and 0.2apg.

  • Swoffer injured, will miss at least 2 games.

  • Broncos can't keep up with high scoring Eclipse

It was a back and forth match in game 1 of the semi-finals for the #5 Eclipse and #8 Broncos, until the leagues highest scoring team, the Eclipse pulled away in the 4th to win 126-122. Eclipse were led by Eli Jaycox with 28 points and Garret Blosser with 25 and 9 assists. Both Bradly Suniga who had 29 with 7 boards, and Jake Lomeli who scored 36 with 7 boards played well for the Broncos. Game 2 goes back to Bronco land where they hope to even things up.

  • Broncos win it!

With a 103-89 win, the Broncos wrapped up the best of 5 round one series at home defeating the Impact 3 games to 1. The Broncos become the first 8th seed to advance to the 2nd round. Bradly Suniga led the way with 37 points and 6 boards while Denis Rosa scored 29 with 8 boards and 7 assists.

For the Impact, the doors are closed after a 35 game record 26 wins and a #1 seed. This marks the second straight season the team has been ousted in the first round.

  • Whetten agrees to deal with Broncos

The Broncos have signed Mike Whetten to the team in a deal worth $822,500 per season for 1 season.

  • Impact may have a chance just yet...

With Alec Merriman back in the lineup, it was the Impact doing what the Impact are known to do... find a way to win a game. Not only did they defeat the Broncos by 10, but the Broncos lost their inside force in center Edward Furbee who will most likely miss the remainder of the series, and their backups just don't cut it. It will be interesting to see what kind of game 3 it will be as the Broncos attempt to close it out at home.

  • Furbee injured, will miss at least 2 games.

  • Impact: Zero and Five.

The Impact found themselves on the losing end again 104-93 to the Broncos. This marks the 5th straight playoff loss in team history bringing the win-loss record to 0-5. For the Broncos this marks the first time they have won 2 games in a playoffs bringing their franchise mark to 3-3.

All bets are on the Impact to win the next game to stay alive however as they will be going back home, and will be at full strength getting Alec Merriman back, a sorely missed role player.

  • Broncos shock Impact for game 1 win!

It looked like the Impact had control until the second half when the Broncos got things together winning the turnover battle 18-9 to win the first game of the best of 5 series 99-90. As the Broncos do, the wealth was shared among all 5 starters with all scoring between 17-19 points with Edward Furbee, back from injury pulling in 12 boards and Bradly Suniga pulling in 10.

The Impact were disorganized in one of their worst offensive outputs of the season. Jose Teske scored 23 with 8 boards and 8 assists while Morris Rosa scored 26, with 7 boards.

The Broncos have a chance to go up 2-0 next game at home.

Bradly Suniga scored a career high 40 points with 8 boards to pace the team. Jake Lomeli had a big game as well with 33 points. Center Edward Furbee is expected to return once playoffs are set.

  • KO'd.. Broncos all but knock Cloud out of playoff contention

The Cloud led by as much as 18 points, but the lead dwindled in the fourth ending when Jake Lomeli hit a huge three pointer from the top of the key to put the Broncos up 100-99 with 19 seconds left. Off of the Cloud timeout, Randal Lyne attempted the game winner with time running out but had the ball tipped by Denis Rosa to seal the win for the Broncos and get them that much closer back to another playoffs. The team finishes up their final games against the Wasps and Diamonds. Lomeli led the team with 23 points and 14 boards.

  • Playoff race shaping up as League I heads into final round

The playoff race is nearly set, and it's looking like the Cloud, the reigning champs will be left out in the cold. They have folded running into the franchises worst stretch in history winning just once in their last 8 games.

Meanwhile the Impact are looking virtually invincible, the Jacks are still playing well even with Kent Noll out at least until the playoffs roll around, the Lizards trying to hold on while their star Tyrone Hamel comes back to the rotation, the Diamonds looking pretty well polished from all sides, the Eclipse surprising everyone by keeping up with the big dawgs, the Moles limping in trying to figure out where they went wrong, the Broncos and Meteors clinging on for dear life and of course the Cloud, currently on the outside looking in.

It should be quite a ride as some very crucial final games on the horizon as the regular season winds down!
