  • Broncos winning at the right time

    The Broncos have the leagues longest current win streak at 6 games beating the Wolves 111-103. Not only have they now won 6 in a row, 5 of the teams were ranked in the top 8 which means the wins were all quality. The Broncos are now ranked 5th in standings, the highest this season.

    Denis Rosa scored 18 points with 12 assists, Alden Swoffer scored 29 with 5 assists. For the Wolves, Tommie Drey continued his brilliant play with 24 points and 13 boards.

  • Wasps miss change to ruffle Wolves playoff position

    Now on an unprecedented 14 game losing streak, the only thing the Wasps had to hold on to was playing spoiler, and it looked like things were going well until the Wolves finally got there act together with 4 minutes left. A last second 3 pointer to send the game into overtime from Fredrick Proffitt was missed as the Wolves went onto win 98-95.

    Tommie Drey has been great since returning to the starting lineup scoring 25 points with 12 rebounds in the win.

  • Solomon injured, will miss at least 1 game.

    Charley Solomon injured his hamstring in the Wolves game against the Lizards. He is expected to miss 1-3 games.

  • Cloud continue to win, key game vs Wolves

    The Cloud looked dominant once again winning their 4th in a row 108-98 over the Wolves. Jared Isaacs scored 27 points, Caleb Weatherspoon had a career high 28 points with 11 boards and Randall Madera scored 23. The Cloud are now 18-8, tied with the Lizards for first place.

    The Wolves dropped to 14-11 in the loss. Tommie Drey scored 25 with 10 rebounds to lead the team.

  • Lemaster career day not enough to catch Wolves

    The Jacks were sent packing after a 113-94 loss to the Wolves despite Mohammed Lemaster's 33 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. A career day for the forward. The team has been anything but consistent as the team now drops to 8-15 on the season.

  • Wolves make quick work of Jacks

    It was punishment from start to finish as the Wolves manhandled the Jacks, never trailing the entire game and winning 113-94. Elvis Lees scored 37 points in the win on 16 of 26 shooting. Cole Lemus scored 27 points with 11 boards. Tommie Drey nearly had  a triple double in his return as a starter scoring 11, with 9 boards and 7 assists.

  • Meteors survive in OT

    It was intense battle between the Wolves and Meteors in a game that featured 22 lead changes, 11 ties and one overtime. With the closing seconds and the score 93-91 in favor of the Meteors, the Wolves came out of the timeout with 8 seconds left and hit a jumper by Elvis Lees to send the game to OT. In OT, again it was back and forth, but this time it was the Meteors coming out of the timeout down by one with 6 ticks left. Buford Lashley drove in and got the difficult bank shot to score as time ran out. Meteors win 104-103.

    Dean Botelho scored 25, Loyd Walton scored 16 with 13 dishes and Buford Lashley had 18 off the bench. The team improves to 10-12 after their 0-4 start.

  • Cushing leads Fire Ants in tough win

    The Fire Ants were up by as much as 16, but let the lead fade to two giving the Wolves a last ditch effort to tie the game in the last seconds. Fortunately they missed giving the Fire Ants a 105-103 win. Gregory Cushing had a career game scoring a high of 32 points with 8 assists. Israel Jacoby scored 20 points with 16 boards and 4 assists in the effort.

    The team now has the definitive playoffs tie-breaker over the Wolves going 2-0 against the team during the regular season.

  • Wolves a little too late in comeback effort

    The Wolves gave it all they could in the final minutes of their rematch with the Fire Ants, but it proved too little as Darwin Heaton heated missed the rebound putback with time expiring that would have sent the game to OT. The final score 103-105. Darnell Proffitt led the team in scoring with 25.

  • The Wolves send Leahy, Drewniak to Cloud for Saladin, Park

    The Wolves have reached a deal with the Cloud that will send Leslie Leahy, and Jamal Drewniak to the Cloud in exchange for Tomas Saladin, and Ken Park.

    Leslie averaged 0.3 PPG, 0.4 rebounds and 0.1 assists in 2.8 minutes per game. Jamal averaged 1.7 PPG, 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 12.0 minutes per game. Tomas averaged 0.2 PPG, 0.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 8.3 minutes per game. Ken averaged 1.5 PPG, 1.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 15.6 minutes per game.

  • Tough win for Impact, Teske has career low 4 assists

    It was a slow shooting night for both teams as the Impact was able to get by the Wolves 78-63 with Christopher Stovall scoring 22 with 11 boards to lead the team. For the first time in his career however Jose Teske was below 5 assists in a game stuggling to score 15 points with 9 rebounds.

  • Par for the course... Diamonds blow a 23 point lead

    The Diamonds built a 23 point lead on the Wolves halfway through the 2nd quarter, with Cliff Labbe leading the way way 21 points early on. Then everything collapsed as the Wolves made run after run to finally take the lead for good with under 4 minutes to go in the 4th. Labbe ended up with 32 points tying his franchise record high. He also pulled in 8 rebounds. Marion Olp, the leagues leading rebounder added to his lead with 16 boards while scoring 18 points.

  • Wolves drop 3rd straight

    It's back to the drawing board for the Wolves as they have now lost 3 in a row after their 9 game winning streak ended. This time to an important match-up with the Wranglers who are now 10-7 after the 93-89 win.

    Darnell Proffitt led the team with 19 points and 7 rebounds in the loss.

  • Wolves suffer first home loss

    Far from their 9 game win streak, the Wolves have now dropped two straight, this one to the Moles who got the best of them and took advantage of the 21-12 turnover difference. The Wolves were out of timeouts and Elvis Lees was forced to hoist a prayer three which missed ending the score at 114-115 in the Moles favor. Cole Lemus led the team with 26 points with 11 rebounds while Trent Ewert scored 23 with 7 assists.

  • Wolves defeat Cobras in epic 3 overtime battle!

    It seemed the Cobras had control of the game leading by as much as 13, but when it came crunch time, the determined Wolves gave the Cobras a good run and tied the game up on free throws at 90-90. The Cobras Al Pandolfo turned the ball over with 2 seconds left on the clock and the game went to overtime.

    In OT, the teams traded shots when it seemed Trent Ewert's jumper to put the Wolves up by 3 with 7 seconds left was going to be the clincher... it wasn't meant to be as Mickey Swilling hit the running three, his only three of the game as time ran out to tie the game at 100.

    In double OT it was more of the same, blow for blow... Trent Ewert once again hit a shot to even the game at 110 with 1 second left. The Cobras Jae Larry had a look at the basket but missed the hook shot.

    In triple OT, it was the Wolves finally taking control of the game building their largest lead of the game up four. The final 2 minutes saw multiple turnovers, but no scoring as the game stagnated at 118-114 until the final seconds when Armand Whyman layed it in for two, but time would wind down and the Wolves go on to their league record 8th straight win.

    Cole Lemus played 52 minutes and scored 21 points with 15 boards. Darnell Proffitt continued his great run scoring 34 points in 51 minutes. Carson Rutledge scored 6 with 11 assists and 13 rebounds.

  • Wolves march on, Trent Ewert leads the way

    Another game, another win for the streaking Wolves, now up to 8 wins in a row to improve to 10-3. They beat the Battle 109-102. Trent Ewert scored 35 points with 6 assists in the in win. Carson Rutledge was efficent with 11 points, 10 assists and 6 boards.

  • Stillll going!

    Another win for the Wolves! That's a new league record 7th straight win for the Wolves who have now positioned themselves among tops in the league. They defeated the Ice Monkeys 90-77 with Caleb Shedd and Tommie Drey  leading the way with 13 points and 15 boards each. Elvis Lees led the way in scoring 17 points with 8 boards.

  • Wolves waive Roland Sibert

    The Wolves have waived Roland Sibert from their roster. Roland posted 0.0 PPG, with 0.0 rebounds and 0.0 assists while playing 1.8 minutes per game during his tenure with the team.
  • Wolves get best of Cheery O's

    It was a primetime showdown between the 7-3 Cheery O's and 7-3 Wolves. The game was kept close until the 4th quarter when the Wolves busted things wide open and went on to score their league record 6th straight win.

    Cole Lemus was huge in the win scoring 17 points and pulling down 18 boards with Trent Ewert scoring a game-high 23 with 8 dishes.

  • Wolves hold on for 5th straight win

    The Wolves were able to hold on despite losing center Cole Lemus to a leg injury before the start of the 2nd half, but held on to a two point win over the Broncos 89-87 for their 5th straight win to improve to 7-3. Trent Ewert led the team with 30 points while Tommie Drey put up 16 with 13 boards.

  • Wolves win big over Meteors

    Tommie Drey was close to unstoppable in the Wolves 101-95 win over the Meteors. He led the team with 29 points and pulled in 10 boards for the teams first win of the season. They almost matched their last games total of 60 points by halftime with Trent Ewert having a big day with 23 points and 13 dimes. Caleb Shedd pulled in a game high 16 boards wihile shipping in 12 points.
