Pitbulls come ahead in titanic 4th game battle against Razors
The Razors/Pitbulls series is considered by many as one of the best playoff battles of the season as the reigning champion Pitbulls try to hold on to the crown against what many consider the best team in the league, Razors led by Jim Weddle and co. The teams battled it out with 17 lead dchanges and 11 ties, but in the end the Pitbulls won again tying the series at 2 with their 109-104 victory.

Pitbulls make huge comeback to tie series
With their backs against the ropes looking like they were about to lose game 2, the Pitbulls came back from a 19 point deficit to shock the Razors 108-100 to even the series 1-1. Alfredo Knowlton led the team with 33 points and 9 boards. The series goes back to the Razors house for game 3.

Razors win first playoff game in franchise history
The Razors have come so close to postseason play in each of their first 3 seasons in existance, and this time, they are in it to win it. They match up against the formidable reigning champion Pitbulls and open game 1 with a 111-107 win at home. Jim Weddle scored 25 points while Elliott Swickard put in 20 with 12 boards.

Razors pull out thrilling Double OT win over Pitbulls on strength of Roman Storer
In the 4th, the Razors, down by 3 to the Pitbulls, took their final timeout with just 2 seconds left, inbounded and Roman Storer jacked up a three pointer to tie the game at 117 and send it into OT. In OT it was tit for tat, and once again left up to Storer coming off a timeout with 4 seconds left, and down by 2. Storer drove in and hit a bank shot to tie the game once again at 130 and send it into the second overtime. In that overtime, Storer and crew found their rhythm outscoring the Pitbulls 19-8 to win the game 149-138 sending the Razors to 20 wins and 2nd place in the standings.
The Razors 149 points were just 2 off the franchise best set earlier this season. Storer ended up with 36 while Bennie Munson scored 25 with 10 assists. For the Pitbulls, Clarence Wertz scored 38 while Alfredo Knowlton chipped in 26 with 17 boards.

Pitbulls improve to 6-0 with win over Warriors
It wasn't as easy an outting as expected for the Pitbulls, but they managed to pull out the win over the Warriors 113-106 staying ahead in the 4th period. It was the first game against his former team for Cary Ewing who is having a huge season for the Warriors. He scored 25 with 6 assists in the game. Rookie Abubakar Boerder continued his impressive season with 29 points, 6 boards and 7 assists.
For the Pitbulls, Ferris Hronek was huge with 25 points and 17 boards. This win bests their previous season 16 best start to the season by 1 win now at 6-0.

Champion Pitbulls remain undefeated
For just the 2nd time in the teams storied history, the Pitbulls start out the season at 4-0 defeating the previously unbeaten expansion Asteroids 105-90. So far so good for the defending champions who lost a good portion of their starting rotation of last season. Ferris Hronek scored 19 with 14 boards and 4 assists to lead the team, while rookie Holbrook Lefeuvre continued to put up big numbers with 26 points. He is averaging 28ppg on the young season.

Long time Spirit/Ice player Tommy Carden proved in his 13th season that he could still get the job done leading all scorers with 27 points and 10 boards while rookie Ulices Marchiano looked impressive with a double-double of his own at 17 and 10.
