The Pitbulls pulled off a HUGE win over the Dragons to remain in playoff contention and even the series at 1-1. The Dragons hadn't lost in 14 previous games, but were beaten 95-89. Stephen Forney scored 33 to lead the Pitbulls.

A Cursed Season
The Pitbulls lost star player Alfredo Knowlton for the season in a 78-98 third straight loss to the Venom. The team is 7-9 after starting an incredible 18-5 suffering injury after injury. The team will battle just to make it into the playoffs now.

Pitbulls finally get over on the Paladins
It was the battle of the crippled standing leaders with the Pitbulls missing two starters and the Paladins having two of their top starters in Mauricio Wolcott and Jamal Gibson hurt and ejected early. The Pitbulls were able to hold on 90-83 for their first win over the Paladins this season.

Things get worst
The Pitbulls barely survived their 5th straight loss by defeating the Gryphons coming from behind 89-85. Along the way however they lost all-star Cary Ewing for the season remainder. Starting center Ferris Hronek remains hurt for the next 10 contests.

For the first time this season the Pitbulls have suffered defeat twice in a row, this time to the hands of the Clash 89-111.

Ewing's triple double puts Pitbulls back into win column
Carey Ewing scored 23 points with 14 rebounds and 10 assists for his first career triple double to lead the Pitbulls back into the win column 114-112 over the Spikers. Nice Smith also had a big day with 37 points and 9 rebounds.

Pitbulls bounce back with win over Urchins
The Pitbulls outrebounded the Urchins 61-31 while hitting 11-17 from downtown on their way to a 103-81 victory over the Urchins. Nice Smith scored 24 points with 19 boards to lead the team.

The Pitbulls found their 5th straight win outrebounding the Venom 58-28 for a 107-81 win. Alfredo Knowlton led the team with 37 points and 11 boards in the win.

Is this the season for Smith?
The Pitbulls are off to a phenomenal start despite losing their huge draft pick Ferris Hronek. Nice Smith and the team came up short last season losing in the first round of the playoffs. Nice Smith is off to a great start this season, and if the team can stay healthy, it should be the championship for the Pitbulls to take.

The Pitbulls demolished the Gryphons 124-84 with Nice Smith scoring 40 points with 14 boards to lead the team. Cary Ewing chipped in 16 points with 13 assists and no turnovers.
