  • Isaacs pumps in 39, destroy Wranglers

Still on a high from his league leading 48 point output, Jared Isaacs poured in 39 points with 8 boards and 5 assists in the Cloud dismantling of the Wranglers 116-64 to improve to 12-13. Second season player Beaufort Stief also put on a show with a career performance pulling down 16 boards with 18 points and 5 assists.

The team held Tyrone Hamel to 9 points, one of his worst games as a Wrangler. The team scored just 64 points, the 2nd lowest output in franchise history while hitting just 30% of shots from the floor.

  • Cloud win 4th quarter in back and forth game, end Wolves streak

The Wolves took what would be their last lead, 91-90, with 11 mins reminaing in the game.  But the shots stopped falling for them after that while the Cloud's continued to go in as they move to 4-4 on the year.  Jared Isaacs (27/5/6) and Randall Madera (32 pts, 9 dimes) led the way shooting a combined 58% from the field.

The Cloud continue to be a thorn in the Wolves’ side—particularly Ill Jackson’s—going back to last season.  They are now 5-0 against the Wolves since last year including the Team Tournament, and 7-0 against Jackson-coached teams.  In those games, the Cloud have been led by Isaacs and Madera averaging 28/4/3 and 23/1/7, respectively, and have outshot the Wolves 51% to 40%.  The Wolves have a lot of ground to make up in this series in what we hope turns into an actual 2-sided rivalry one day.

  • Jared Isaacs named Team MVP

Jared Isaacs has won the Team MVP award for the 3rd Cloud season.

  • Cloud turn in huge win at home over Ice Monkeys

The Cloud may have just become the team to beat, as they rally late to slide past the Ice Monkeys 114-103. They are now up a shocking 2-0 in the series. Caleb Weatherspoon  made up the difference scoring 37 points with 7 assists as Jared Isaacs couldn't stay out of foul trouble, playing just 13 minutes before geting the boot. The series returns to the Ice Monkeys home court as the Cloud attempt to close out the series.

  • Jared Isaacs finishes 3rd in the league in points

Jared Isaacs averaged 23.5 points per game this season finishing in 3rd place leaguewide. The Cloud congratulate him on this accomplishment.
  • Ice Monkeys on fire as they face the Cloud in Game 1

The Ice Monkeys (23-12) have won 8 out of their last 9 games to earn the #1 spot and will host the #8 seed Cloud in Round 1 of the Season 3 playoffs. The Cloud (19-16) bounced back from an 0-5 start and improved to 16-11; however they fell to 18-16 after losing three in a row before saving themselves with a win versus the Badgers in the regular season finale to earn themselves a playoff spot. Led by star Jared Isaacs (23.5 ppg, #3 in league) and league 3pt leader Randall Madera (.465), the Cloud look to make a run for their second league championship after winning it all in Season 1. The Ice Monkeys come in with just one playoff win for the franchise, but look to complete an amazing turnaround season after missing the playoffs last season. Led by a well-rounded group of starters, the Ice Monkeys come in having had five different scoring leaders the last five games. Earl Wilt stands out with 21.0 ppg and is second in the league in shooting (.589), while Tommie Drey is 5th in the league in rebounds (9.2 rpg). While the Ice Monkeys lead the league by far in points (106.4 ppg), and the Cloud lead the league in three-point percentage (.386), both teams are atop the league in overall field goal shooting and two-point shots. This should be a high-scoring series and could come down to who shoots better. The Cloud will need to continue to hit their threes if they want to keep up with the high-powered Ice Monkeys. Otherwise, the Ice Monkeys should take the series easily as they have been the more consistent team. The Cloud won their lone matchup this season 102-100, their first win vs. the Ice Monkeys, but the Ice Monkeys still lead 3-1 all-time.

  • Cloud continue spectacular season turnaround beating Broncos 112-109

The Broncos and Cloud squared off in a battle of two teams deadset on playoff basketball with the Cloud coming in as one of the hottest teams around on a 4 game win streak, and the Broncos trying to keep afloat after going 1-4 the past 5 games.

The Broncos jumped out early at home going up by 18, but the Cloud battled back despite having Jared Isaacs foul out early after 17 points. Randall Madera took the reigns scoring 39 points on 17 of 26 shooting along with Randal Lyne scoring 22 getting the team back in striking distance and keeping them in the lead with 2 minutes left to win by 3 after Alden Swoffer missed a game tying 3 pointer. For the Broncos, Jake Lomeli scored 39 points with 9 boards.

  • Hamel's 40 not enough to get by the red hot Cloud

Tyrone Hamel scored 40 points on 13 of 26 shooting, Kent Himes scored 24 with 10 boards. However their attrocious guard play did them in once again now losing 7 of 9 games after a 5-2 start. Cody Linville hit a huge 3 pointer to tie things up at 90, but Jared Isaacs hit the game winner adding to his 37 points to lead the Cloud 92-90. The 1st season champion Cloud have now won 9 of 12 after a 0-5 start.

  • Cloud turning things around with another win over Wasps

After a 0-5 start, the Cloud have finally found a rythm, going 5-1 over the past 6 games after a 121-95 rout of the 7-3 Wasps. Jared Isaacs led the way with 30 points while Randal Lyne scored 26 with 9 rebounds.

  • Cloud head to 0-4 with loss to Jacks

With a 87-110 loss to the Jacks, the Cloud have officially took themselves out of the running to be considered an elite team. The Jacks had their way with high main Terrence Mcniff leading the way scoring 22 points and 8 assists in the 3rd season player's break out season.

Bothe Jared Isaacs and Randal Lyne fouled out for the Cloud who have struggled game in and game out this season.

  • Jared Isaacs re-signs with Cloud

Jared Isaacs has signed on to play for another 2 seasons with the Cloud for a contract worth $14,040,000 per season.

  • Jared Isaacs finishes 3rd in the league in points

Jared Isaacs averaged 24.8 points per game this season finishing in 3rd place leaguewide. The Cloud congratulate him on this accomplishment.
  • Meteors escape with win over Cloud to end losing streak

After 4 straight losses, playoff hopes began to fade further away from the Meteors, but the team came back strong against the defending champion Cloud taking the lead and holding them off in the final minutes to win the game 95-94. Elbert Hewgley led the team with 24 points and 7 assists. For the Cloud, Jared Isaacs scored 28.

  • Cloud best Jacks in heavyweight matchup

The preseason #1 Jacks and the champion Cloud squared off in a match that could have heavy playoff seeding implications with the Cloud coming out the victors in a shootout that saw both team put up franchise record numbers in points and a combined score of 265 points. The Clouds win gives them a 2-0 head-to-head advantage and therfore a playoff tiebreaker advantage which could prove very useful from the way things are looking.

Caleb Weatherspoon scored 28 with 13 assists while hitting 11 of 12 from the field while Jared Isaacs scored 34 with 4 assists and 4 boards.

For the Jacks, Gary Ladd continues to make a very strong case for Rookie of the Season just missing his first triple double scoring 21 with 11 boards and 9 assists in the losing effort.

  • So far the Cloud seem to have made the right moves during the offseason to give themselves a good shot at a repeat title. They traded away reliable 6th man Jackie Porcaro who is now leading the Wolves, but they added The X-Factor Tommie Drey who was underutilized by the Wolves last season as well as role player Brandon Siva to go along with their championship front of Randall Madera, Jared Isaacs, Randal Lyne, Caleb Weatherspoon and Cecil Frueh.

Tommie Drey adds an element of surprise to every game and has shown that he can be whatever you need him to be, wether it's dropping 30 in a game, pulling down 15 boards or dishing dimes, he built for the job. Once the season comes down to crunchtime, many think The X-Factor Tommie Drey will be the player that makes for breaks the run for two titles.

  • Cloud hand Jacks a dose of reality

The reigning champion Cloud topped the last undefeated team in the league crushing the Jacks by 30, 119-89 in what many think could be a championship game preview. The point total allowed by the Jacks was the second most ever allowed in team history. While the Cloud hit 58% from downtown while the Jacks were a dreadful 2 of 22. Kent Noll could muster just 1 for 8 himself, however did still manage 24 points and 6 assists.

The Jacks tinkered with their lineup, giving Rosendo Reiss and Chang Erwin another start, over the usual Edward Thrash and Judson Ibarra... not a good idea as both Reiss and Erwin struggled.

For the Cloud, things were just clicking again... scoring 112+ for the 4th time in their first 5 games. Jared Isaacs hit 4 of 5 from downtown to add to his 28 points. Caleb Weatherspoon scored 23 with 9 assists and 7 boards while Randal Lyne pulled in 11 boards with 23 points.

  • Cloud in familiar form... ease past Slash

The Cloud are back on the horse after a suprising loss to the Badgers, jumping back to beat the Slash by 9 points at home. Both Jared Isaacs and Randall Madera posted over 30 points while the X-Factor Tommie Drey put up an unusual double-double for himself pulling in 13 boards with a career high 11 assists. Caleb Weatherspoon had one for himself with 17 points, 6 boards and 10 assists.

  • Champions improve to 3-0

It's early yet, but the Cloud have showed no signs of deviating from their championship form of last season defeating the Eclipse 122-101 in a true team effort. Caleb Weatherspoon was two assists shy of a triple double scoring 20 points with a career high 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Tommie Drey continued to be a difference maker scoring 19 with 14 boards while Jared Isaacs scored 24 with 9 boards and Randall Madera with a team high 27. The team is averaging an astounding 121+ppg.

The Eclipse look to still be holding up solidly as their early difficult schedule sees them able to put up points and solid numbers. Andy Fredricks scored 16 points with 12 assists, while rookie Garret Blosser played a solid all-around game scoring 12 with 8 boards and 7 assists.

  • Isaacs selected for All-League Team

Jared Isaacs has been selected to represent the League II All-League team after averaging 28.9ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.5apg during the season.

  • Isaacs receives ring

Jared Isaacs has received his championship ring for being part of the League II, Season 1 champion Cloud team. Congratulations!

  • Cloud dominate in OT to go up 2-0

42 points from Kent Noll wasn't enough to get the Cheery O's over the hump in OT. The team took their largest lead of the game with minutes to go and up by 6. That wasn't enough as the Cloud pounded inside to Randal Lyne who tied the game up to send it to OT. In Overtime the Cloud wasted little time outscoring the Cheery O's 17-8 to take the game by 9 points. Lyne ended with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Jared Isaacs scored 36 and Cecil Frueh scored 22 off the bench.

The Cloud can close out the series and take the League II championship next game at home.

  • No problem for the Cloud taking game 1 at home

The Cloud took the lead for good late in the 1st half and never looked back defeating the Cheery O's 113-87 to take the first game in the League II championship series at home.

Jared Isaacs scored 26 points with 5 boards while Jackie Porcaro put up 17 with 13 boards.

Kent Noll of the Cheery O's was contained to 27 points as the offense just couldnt get things going. The Cheery O's host game 2 where it will seem to be a do or die situation.

  • Skabo and the Moles tie series up in record fashion

141 points. The most ever scored by a team in League II. The Moles destroyed the Cloud getting revenge for their home loss the previous game. Trevor Skabo had a career outing scoring a careery high 43 points with a career high 9 boards with 8 assists in 40 minutes. Hiram Atkins scored 31 while Vince Varney scored 24 in the win.

The Cloud actually played well, hitting 58% from the field to score 115 points, but when the Moles are spot on, they are unbeatable. Caleb Weatherspoon scored 31 points with 6 boards and 8 rebounds. Jared Isaacs had 23.

Game 3 will be back home for the Moles where they are expected to win.

  • Cloud step up in dominant performance to move to 2nd round

The Cloud proved to be up to the challenge and then some crushing the Fire Ants by 42 in their most dominant performance of the season. Randall Madera led the team with 38 points including 6 of 7 from downtown while Jared Isaacs scored 30 with 7 boards. Caleb Weatherspoon scored 22 with 13 assists while Randal Lyne scored 18 with 8 rebounds.

For the Fire Ants, nothing worked as they trailed by as much as 46 points in their loss which knocks them out of the playoffs. Evan Wile led the team with 22 points and 6 assists, but was a lone bright spot on the team that saw Israel Jacoby score just 15 with 4 boards.

The Cloud move on to face the Moles in the semi-finals.

  • Cloud Catastrophe gives Fire Ants win to even series

The game was basically unwinnable for the Cloud who succumbed to the Fire Ants 105-84. The series is now tied 2-2 as the Cloud go back home to try once again to close the series out.

The Cloud lost Jared Isaacs in the first half after an incredible 6 fouls in just 12 minutes of play. Then things got worse when Cecil Frueh left with an injury, and probably won't be back until the next round of the playoffs... if the Cloud can hold on to make it there. Luckily the teams bench is deep but they will have to play a phenomenal game to have a chance to move on.

The Fire Ants completely took advantage of the situation with big man Israel Jacoby scoring 27 points with 10 boards and 4 assists. Evan Wile scored 25 with 6 assists while Pedro Rock scored 21.

The Cloud sported a 12-5 record during the regular season while the Fire Ants were 9-8 on the road.

  • Do or Die Game 5 for Fire Ants/Cloud

The Fire Ants won the first, the Cloud won the next two, then the Fire Ants rounded it out with a game 4 win at home even the series up 2-2. The #3 seeded Cloud were the favorite to take it all, and may still be going back home for the final game, but they are missing a crucial player in Cecil Frueh who dropped 46 points earlier in the series. They are however probably the deepest team in the league including all-star and points leader Jared Isaacs, three point threat Randall Madera, solid center Randal Lyne, Caleb Weatherspoon, assist master at the point and role player Jackie Porcaro who steps in for Frueh at the other forward spot.

The Fire Ants sport a deep bench as well but heavily rely on all-star center Israel Jacoby to set the tone of the game. A win will come down to wether Evan Wile and Gregory Cushing are able to step up with big games to give the team the boost they will need on the road.

  • Frueh lights it up with a career best 46

The Cloud came out fast against the Fire Ants on their way to a 123-90 victory and 2-1 series lead. Just one victory away from the semi-finals where they will meet either the Moles or Ice Monkeys.

Cecil Frueh lit up the scene hitting 16 shots on 26 attempts for a career high 46 points, and just off the pace of 48 set by Jared Isaacs for the franchise record. Isaacs scored 29 in the win. Randall Madera left with an injury after just 7 minutes.

The Fire Ants will need to dig deep and get Israel Jacoby going as he has been putting up a dismal 5.3 rebounds in the playoffs. Evan Wile did score 30 for the team with 9 boards and 6 assists in the losing effort.

  • Jared Isaacs finishes 1st in the league in points

Jared Isaacs averaged 28.9 points per game this season finishing in 1st place leaguewide. The Cloud congratulate him on this accomplishment.
  • Isaacs selected as an All-Star

Jared Isaacs has been voted as an all-star for the Cloud. Isaacs averaged 28.9ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.5apg.

  • Jared Isaacs named Team MVP

Congratulations to Jared Isaacs on winning the Cloud Team MVP award for Season 1.
  • Isaacs 43 not enough for Cloud, as Badgers get the best

Eighteen lead changes and 7 ties later, the Badgers prevailed at home over the Cloud 119-108 to een up the series at 1. The Badgers however do keep their hopes alive with a miracle chance of making the playoffs which would probably mean winning the rest of their games.

Gregorio Yule led the team scoring 31 points with 6 assists and 6 rebounds. For the Cloud, Jared Isaacs scored 43 points, but the benches lack of production (4 points) wasn't enough for a win.

  • Jacks destroy Cloud despite Isaacs 46

It was a coast to coast victory for the Jacks beating up on the Cloud 125-100 and never trailing. The Jacks finally looked like the team they were expected to be after all of the midseason trades. Mohammed Lemaster had 34 points, 11 boards and 5 assists. Dirk Roberson scored 25 with 13 boards and Joshua Dave scored a team high 37 points with 6 assists.

The Cloud couldn't figure things out despite Jared Isaacs having a phenomenal 46 points with 6 rebounds hitting 5 of 7 from three land and 18 of 27 overall.

The Cloud still hold on to 2nd in the standings, however the Lizards are now further ahead than they've ever been at #1.

  • Cloud continue to win, key game vs Wolves

The Cloud looked dominant once again winning their 4th in a row 108-98 over the Wolves. Jared Isaacs scored 27 points, Caleb Weatherspoon had a career high 28 points with 11 boards and Randall Madera scored 23. The Cloud are now 18-8, tied with the Lizards for first place.

The Wolves dropped to 14-11 in the loss. Tommie Drey scored 25 with 10 rebounds to lead the team.

  • Cloud make statement win over Fire Ants

  • Impact drop game vs Cloud

The Cloud came out gunning against the Impact as the team dropped the game 107-116. The Impact found no solution for Jared Isaacs as the leagues leading scorer lit them up for a new record 48 points. Jose Teske led the Impact in the losing effort scoring 31 points, 14 assists and 6 boards. Modesto Cogan scored 17 points with 12 assists.

  • Cloud beat Impact for 2-0 head-to-head win behind Isaacs record 48

The Cloud took control of the game versus the Impact in the second half building a 17 point lead behind Jared Isaacs league record 48 points on 19 for 23 shooting. He remains the leagues leading scorer.

This gives the Cloud the tie-breaker advantage over the Impact. Unfortunately injuries have plagued the Cloud, first Randall Madera, then Randal Lyne, now Cecil Frueh who had been playing extremley well. He will miss at least 6 games for the team.

  • Destined to win?

The Cloud have been one of the more curiousity provoking teams in the league, ranked 9th in the preseason polls, they have climbed their way up to the top power ranking spot with good reason.

Jared Isaacs and Randall Madera are both scoring nearly 30 points per game, which is unheard of for being on the same team, while the pick up of Cecil Frueh has proven to be one of the best trades so far this season. He has worked his way into a starting role has put up huge scoring numbers.

The team was without Madera for 8 games, now they are missing starting center Randal Lyne, who should return shortly. Once the team is solid and getting contributions from all key players, the team will be the most formidable opponent and very much the favorite to grab the #1 playoff position.

  • Cloud end losing streak at 2, Frueh scores 38

The Cloud, known for their scoring are not used to it coming from anyone else other than Jared Isaacs or Randall Madera. Don't let Cecil Frueh know that, he's been playing at a high level lately, this game scoring a career and game high 38 points as he made 17 shots on 30 attempts. Madera scored 23 while Isaacs had 15.

  • Pouring buckets for the Cloud

After losing back-to-back games for the first time, the Cloud rebounded in a big way defeating the Cheery O's 113-90 and marking the 5th straight game over 100 for the team. Randall Madera had a huge day breaking the team scoring record with 43 points on 15 of 22 shooting including 7 three pointers. Jared Isaacs scored 29 points on 11 of 24 shooting and Cecil Frueh scored 24 coming off the bench in 31 minutes.

The Cloud remain atop the standings with a 12-4 record.

  • Cloud lose heartbreaker to Wasps
