Cloud hand Jacks a dose of reality
The reigning champion Cloud topped the last undefeated team in the league crushing the Jacks by 30, 119-89 in what many think could be a championship game preview. The point total allowed by the Jacks was the second most ever allowed in team history. While the Cloud hit 58% from downtown while the Jacks were a dreadful 2 of 22. Kent Noll could muster just 1 for 8 himself, however did still manage 24 points and 6 assists.
The Jacks tinkered with their lineup, giving Rosendo Reiss and Chang Erwin another start, over the usual Edward Thrash and Judson Ibarra... not a good idea as both Reiss and Erwin struggled.
For the Cloud, things were just clicking again... scoring 112+ for the 4th time in their first 5 games. Jared Isaacs hit 4 of 5 from downtown to add to his 28 points. Caleb Weatherspoon scored 23 with 9 assists and 7 boards while Randal Lyne pulled in 11 boards with 23 points.
