Moles face Impact in must win game
The Impact weren't too hot of a team to begin with, but now things cool off even more, as $29mil man Morris Rosa is sidelined with a calf injury for what may be the season remainder. Modesto Cogan will be running the show for the team, a solid point guard.. along with 2nd season sharp shooter Matt Tames at forward.
The Moles have been getting more consistent play from Hiram Atkins late, and Kent Noll seems to be steadying for the season. The Moles however would love to get more touches for Eli Reyes who has been the teams real catalyst since taking over the starting job mid season.

Impact fall flat in debut
The Impact left much to be desired in the opener losing to the Battle 95-104 with 29 mil man Morris Rosa getting into foul trouble early and fouling out after 27 minutes and 21 points. Modesto Cogan would have the responsibility to pick up the slack, hitting 4 of 5 three pointers for 21 points, but it wasn't enough as the offense staggered and couldn't keep up with Mike Brunner's 29 points for the Battle. The Battle also outrebounded them 49-28 and the Impact outfouled the Battle 22-10.

Impact big 5 relentless
The Impact can boast a starting 5 that can match the best of any other team in the league. The loss of Christopher Stovall was thought could be the undoing of the teams chemistry, but they have been looking as good as ever with Morris Rosa, Jose Teske, Reynaldo Gill, Alec Merriman and Modesto Cogan running the show. Rosa scored a game high 31 points with 7 boards, Teske scored 16 with 13 dishes. Merriman has been a rebound monster, grabbing 18 and Modesto Cogan has been solid at the #2 gaurd scoring 16 with 7 dishes. They improve to 4-1 beating the Cobras 112-85.

The Cloud came out gunning against the Impact as the team dropped the game 107-116. The Impact found no solution for Jared Isaacs as the leagues leading scorer lit them up for a new record 48 points. Jose Teske led the Impact in the losing effort scoring 31 points, 14 assists and 6 boards. Modesto Cogan scored 17 points with 12 assists.

Teske sensational in loss
The Impact came back from a 15 point deficit and looked poised to cap off the victory in the final minutes, but the Badgers would have none of it holding off the Impact for a 87-84 win.
Jose Teske was sensational once again leading the team with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Modesto Cogan had 9 assists, but unfortunately was strapped with foul trouble in the loss.

Teske scores career high in loss to Meteors
The Meteors put on a surprising show against the Impact never trailing the entire game to win 115-97. Jose Teske however did have a huge game bettering his career high by 2 points with 35 while dishing 8 assists. It was too little too late once the Impact did get within 5 points as Modesto Cogan was ejected from the game with 9 assists and 7 points.

Impact beat Moles by 47
Everything was clicking for the Impact as the cruised to victory scoring 114 to the Moles 67. Jose Teske and Modesto Cogan solidified themselves as the most formidable backcourt in the league with Teske scoring 33 points with 11 boards and 8 assists, while Cogan 37 with 10 assists. Christopher Stovall and Reynaldo Gill also had terrific games both registering double doubles.

Moles demolished at the hands of Impact
If the Moles wanted an indicator of where the team stands in comparison to the leagues best, they got it in spades going against the always tought Impact not once taking the lead in the game and losing by an unbelievable 47 points. The teams high scorer was Edwin Schenk with 23, while the next highest scorer was Vince Varney with 13.
The team allowed two players to score over 30.. Jose Teske with 33 and Modesto Cogan with 37.
The Moles remain over .500 however with their 8-6 record.

Impact prevail in exhilirating win
In a game that saw 18 lead changes and 10 ties, the Battle and Impact battled to the end until the Impact were able to finally pull ahead for good in the final minutes. Jose Teske led the way with his second triple double of the season scoring 23 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists while Christopher Stovall had 19 points with 14 rebounds. Modesto Cogan also had a career day with 28 points and 8 assists.
For the Battle, Mike Brunner scored a game and season-high 38 points including 7 of 8 three pointers while Nelson Everson scored 21 with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
