  • Moles put up huge 4th quarter to beat Jacks

The Moles fell down by as much as 14 to the Jacks, trailing most of the game as team just could not find their shot. Dirk Roberson however kept them in the game putting up monster number in his best game of the season, 22 points, 17 boards and 4 blocks. Kent Noll lit fire in the 4th, tying his season high with 36 points while Hiram Atkins managed 22 with 8 boards. The team couldn't miss from the arc in the 4th outscoring the Jacks 40-16 on their way to a 16 point win.

The team had no answer for the Jacks Terrence Mcniff who had a field day scoring 30 including 5 three pointers, but that wasn't enough as the Jacks continue their worst season in history standings-wise.

The Moles on the other hand still have a slim chance to secure the #1 spot in the playoffs if they can win out versus the Impact and Cloud, and hope the Slash lose 2 of their next 3 contests.

  • Jacks end Slash streak with win on the road

Apparently all hasn't been lost for the Jacks season, even after the awful start, firing of their coach, and losing their prize draft pick in Re Scalese. They beat the Slash by 5, this after defeating the Eclipse by 8 to win 2 of their last 3 matches, after winning just 4 games all season before the turmoil. They have relied on solid play from all corners of the team to put complete games together. Who knows how far it will take them, but they have a nice test against the Cheery O's tomorrow night. Terrence Mcniff scored 28 with 7 assists while Tom Barringer scored  22 with 10 boards.

  • Moles face big challenge in push for playoffs

The Jacks are the first obstacle in the Moles quest to win out and guarantee a playoff spot. They bested the Jacks earlier this season, but that was before the resurgence of the Jacks with Terrence Mcniff, Gary Ladd and Dirk Roberson playing big winning 6 straight games before losing to the Broncos by 4. The Jacks are a team that figure to be in the mix for one of the final playoff spots, so a win here would be astronomical for the Moles as the season winds down.

  • McNiff leads Jacks over Lizards

It was a career high for Terrence Mcniff who is having the best season of his career scoring 38 points for the Jacks as they beat the Lizards 112-101 to improve to 16-13. • Unbelievable double OT game 2 between Jacks and Eclipse

The Eclipse held a 20 point lead before the Jacks slashed into it in the final minutes of regulation, scoring 41 points in the period culminating in a huge 3 pointer by Edward Thrash who wound up with 18 points and 11 assists to send the game into OT, for the second straight game in the series. In OT, things got off to a slow start by both teams, but halfway through the teams lit up trading shot for shot, culminating with a last second shot by Brendan Spain who scored 24 off the bench coming off a timeout sending the game to double overtime. In the 2nd OT, it was shot for shot once again until it looked like the Jacks would close it out with a 4 point lead with 2 minutes left, but the Eclipse battled on outscoring the Jacks 8-2 with Andy Fredricks hitting what would be the game winner 142-140. Both franchise scoring records for each team. Fredricks finished with 22 points and 11 assists while Eli Jaycox scored 22 with 9 boards and 7 assists.

Dirk Roberson led the Jacks with a career best 38 points and 15 boards, but perhaps the story of the day was Terrence Mcniff who had a career day and a game high 24 attempts to score 38 points with 8 assists against his former team. He was traded earlier in the season for Judson Ibarra and two future draft picks.

The series goes back to the Jacks home tied 1-1. The Eclipse are hoping Ibarra will be available as he is listed day-to-day.

  • Mcniff, traded to Eclipse

The Eclipse have reached a deal with the Meteors that will send a season 5, 1st round draft pick to the Meteors in exchange for Terrence Mcniff, and a season 3, 2nd round draft pick.

Mcniff averaged 12.9 PPG, 0.8 rebounds and 7.7 assists in 31.1 minutes per game.

  • McNiff out for the entire season

Guard Terrence Mcniff went down with a blow to the head and will miss the rest of the season. This is a tough break for the Meteors as this is the 2nd guard to go down to injury this season. Mcniff was scoring 13 points a game and led the team with 8 assists per game.

Sebastian Heyer will step in and is no stranger to experience as he has played in 9 games and is averaging nearly 18 minutes a game.
