Meteors playoff hopes falling, lose to Ice Monkeys
As quick as the Meteors rose themselves into the playoff conversation, it seems they are playing themselves right out of it after 2 straight losses. The latest to the Ice Monkeys who put up 138 points to the Meteors 120. The Ice Monkeys have a playoff berth wrapped up for the 3rd straight season with either the 3rd, 4th or 5th spot, while the Meteors put themselves in a must-win, Wranglers must-lose situation tomorrow.
Jamison Bomberger once again led the Ice Monkeys scoring 31 with 11 boards while Cuniberto Sirett also had a double-double with 29 points, 10 boards.

Bomb Dropped
Considered one of the best centers in the league, Jamison Bomberger has exploded this season guiding the Ice Monkeys to what should be the teams 4th playoffs in 5 seasons, and 3rd in a row.
3-time all-star and former Team Tournament MVP, Bomberger has put up sensational numbers all season including over 20ppg, nearly 8rpg and hits over 92% from the stripe. He could also be on his way to a League MVP nod and would be the first center to do so in League II history.
The team, led by coach Desiverd added Jamal Reese to the mix, complementing a revitalized Tommie Drey. Wilfred Shobe and Cuniberto Sirett have also been solid at guard as the team has been on a tear lately as they climb the standings in terror-like fashion.

Ice Monkeys back on track after 7-game skid
The Ice Monkeys have climbed back to 0.500 (11-11) and are in the midst of the clustered race for a playoff spot after winning 7 of their last 9 games. This follows a franchise-worst 7-game losing streak, which more than doubled their previous long of 3 losses in a row. With the strong play of G Cuniberto Sirett, F Tommie Drey finding his groove after a sluggish start to the season, recently aquired F Kale Bowline fitting in nicely playing superbly, and C Jamison Bomberger looking good contending for an All Star selection, the Ice Monkeys are getting back to Championship form. They now lead the league in points per game (106.7) once again (Led the league last year with 106.4 ppg), but continue to struggle defensively allowing a league worst (and current record) 111.0 ppg. Despite missing starting G Wilfred Shobe with a knee injury, the Ice Monkeys are playing their best ball of the season and are poised to make another deep run after losing the Championship last year to the Meteors.

Ice Monkeys fumble at home... again
Count it... 7 straight losses for last seasons runner-up Ice Monkeys after their 93-107 loss to the Cheery O's. Their previous worst losing stretch in franchise history was 3 games. A team that was consistently known for winning at home is just 3-4 in the monkey cage this season. Tommie Drey is well off his all-star form shooting a just 33% from the field, just 7.2rpg and 12.5ppg... all career lows. The only bright spots have been the play of second season player Cuniberto Sirett and all-star center Jamison Bomberger.
The team faces a tough opponent in the Cloud in an away game tomorrow.

Ice Monkeys take Lizards in game one of Semi's
It was another comeback victory for the Ice Monkeys taking game 1 in the best of 5 series vs the Lizards. Rookie Cuniberto Sirett was huge off the bench knocking down 8 shots for 23 points. Next outting moves to the Lizards court where the Lizards have yet to lose this postseason for game 2.
