  • Nolan gets his gift

Norberto Nolan has long been known as the Dragons Team MVP every season in franchise history... and also failing to make the championship every season. This season could be quite different now that the league record holder in All-Star selections finally has someone on the team to help him carry the weight. Nice Smith has taken the league by storm in his second season and no other player is reaping the benefits more than Nolan. For the first time the Dragons have a real shot at winning it all and Norberto Nolan is playing as well as he ever has. This just goes to show how great of a player he is, being selected as an all-star in each of the last 10 seasons despite not having someone else to shoulder some of the teams weight. He is scoring a career best 18ppg while hitting a career high 63% of his shots.

  • Welcome to the Nice Smith Show

Nice Smith has become the most electrifying player in the league putting up phenomenal numbers this season just one season removed from his Rookie MVP campaign with the Ice last season. He is now a certified 40+ point threat and is by far the league leader in votes for a League MVP award. He could become the first player in league history to finish in the top 3 in both scoring and rebounding. He could also become the first player in the league since Nicky Horde to be voted League MVP in just his second season. The Dragons are also a real threat this season as Smith and veteran Norberto Nolan have become the most dynamic duo in the game. Nolan's run as the teams MVP every season for the past 11 could also come to an end as Smith begins to emerge as the new face of the Dragons.

  • Nice Smith traded to Dragons

The Ice have traded away their superstar rookie Nice Smith to the Dragons for Isaiah Smyth and Justin Olive. Nice Smith of course is coming off the best rookie season since Hasheem Halim in season 4. Smith should absolutely thrive in this new offense that finds him matched alongside veteran Norberto Nolan. He will make them a pretty dynamic force this season. Isaiah Smyth is an extremely solid center returning to the Ice after 7 seasons behind Nolan and a very good Justin Olive in his 3rd season will start with the Ice at guard opposite Rudolph Jackson.
