    Congratulations to coach Rudman and the League I, Season 27 champion Lava! The Lava defeated the Ice 3-2 in the championship series to claim their 5th franchise championship. The team compiled a record of 27-8 during the season and a playoff record of 9-2 en route to the title. How sweet it is!

  • Championship series here we come! It will be the #3 seed Ice vs the #1 seeded Lava. The season head-to-head series was tied at 1 game a piece during the regular season. The Lava posted a playoff record of 6-0 and a regular season record of 27-8. The Ice have posted a playoff record of 6-2 after a regular season record of 25-10.

    The Ice are led by Kenyan Zymowski scoring 22.1 ppg with 9.9 rpg and 0.3 apg during the regular season. Avertano Traster averaged 24.6 ppg, 4.1 rpg and 4.5 apg. And Kevan Palifka averaged 15.8 ppg, 6.7 rpg and 9.2 apg.

    The Lava are led by Burr Better scoring 23.0 ppg with 10.7 rpg and 3.1 apg during the regular season. Bud Marler averaged 8.2 ppg, 8.6 rpg and 8.0 apg. And Jim Weddle averaged 12.4 ppg, 9.2 rpg and 0.6 apg.

    The action starts August 28th in the final series to decide the League I Champions for season 27!

  • Mickael Parrington awarded League MVP

    Mickael Parrington has been awarded this seasons League MVP award after a phenomenal season with the Romans. He averaged 20.6 points per game, pulled in 7.7 rebounds a game and dished 6.6 assists per game.

  • Hamzah Barlass named Rookie of the Season

    Congratulations to Hamzah Barlass of the Asteroids on being selected as Rookie of the Season. He was the #1 pick taken overall this season.

  • Paladins Blow 3rd Quarter 25 Point Lead to Fall Even in Series

    It was all roses for the Paladins as they jumped to a commanding lead in the 2nd and 3rd quarters while hitting lights out from all over the court. The Ice however finally got everything clicking and went on a 4th quarter rampage led by a recoverd Avertano Traster who scored 45 in the game on the teams way to a 48 point quarter and a 4 point win by the time it was said and done. The Paladins host the Ice in game 3.

  • Domokos Hunday named Defensive MVP of the season

    Domokos Hunday has won Defensive MVP. He finishes the regular season allowing opponents to shoot just an adjusted .384% on him while pulling down 7.6rpg, 1.7spg and 2.3bpg for the Rhinos.

  • Paladins Take Game 1 in 2nd Round Series Vs Ice

    The Paladins came out victorious vs a tough Ice team 110-94 to jump out in front for the series lead after the first game. Boyd Brunson was huge off the bench scoring a season high 25 points in 24 minutes. While getting to the free throw line was major for the Palaidns, turnovers ended up costing the Ice as they commited 23 versus the Paladins 14.

    The Ice were without star forward Avertano Traster and hope that he will solidify the teams presence in game two on the Ice home court.

  • Freeber takes home Coach of Season honors

    After a 22-13 season with the Asteroids, Freeber was selected as the 27th seasons Coach of the Season.

    Freeber will also have the honor of coaching the League I all-league team in this seasons tournament.

  • Paladins dominate in Game 1 of Playoff Series

    The Paladins took over in the 2nd quarter and never looked back, defeating the Romans by 32 after splitting the regular season series. Kodie Cabotage led all scores with 27 while Zachrey Edgars pulled in 13 boards.

  • Arkell leads Spirit to Game 1 Victory

    The veteran point guard Aaron Arkell led the Spirit to a 104-100 victory on the road over the Asteroids in the first game of the playoff series. Arkell served up his first career post season triple-double scoring 17 with 11 boards and assists. Last season the Spirit bowed out in the first round of the playoffs with the same 5th seed draw.

  • The brackets are now set for the League I playoffs with the Lava taking the top spot and guaranteed home court advantage throughout with a 27-8 regular season record. The other teams that will have home court advantage for at least the first round are the Paladins, Ice and Asteroids.

    The Ice have reached a deal with the Warriors that will send Aabheer Nevers, Ildefonso Kieft, and a season 31, 2nd round draft pick to the Warriors in exchange for Jarrius Rech, Ascot Leubner, and a season 30, 1st round draft pick.

    Nevers averaged 6.2 PPG, 2.6 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 10.7 minutes per game. Rech averaged 7.6 PPG, 1.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 12.0 minutes per game. Leubner averaged 9.7 PPG, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 22.8 minutes per game.

  • Paladins Topple Spirit for Biggest Win of Season

    The Paladins faced their toughest competition of the season on the road against a 10-4 Spirit team who had beaten them the past 5 contests, however the team showed their champion "spirit" and manhandled through the entire game winning 138-106 to improve to 13-3. Volker Knobell was exceptional scoring 26 with 9 boards and 10 assists while Mauricio Wolcott scored 28 with 13 assists. Kodie Cabotage led the scoring with 31 while Milan Munding  scored 26 off the bench.

    Ved Rayworth injured his shoulder in the Clash game against the Lava. He is expected to miss 1-2 games.

  • Paladins Survive Loopy Game with Edge

    The Paladins and Edge traded leads and quarters, but the Paladins ended things on top by 8 points defeating the Edge for the 4th straight time. Chitrarath Rotenberry scored his career high 26 points on his way to a double-double. Kodie Cabotage joined him with 20 points and 13 boards after scoring 12 in the first quarter.

  • Warriors Win!

    It's been a long season for the Warriors after losing their 1st 10 games to start the season, by far the longest drought in the franchises history. They finally faced a formidable foe in the Sun Bears who had just 2 wins on the season and came out on top on the road 105-88. The Warriors #2 pick in the draft and top player Tapas Valliere finally got a taste of victory dishing 9 assists with 19 points in the win.

  • Paladins Win in Heart-pounding squeaker over Romans

    The Paladins eeked by the Romans in OT, finally winning by 8 points after going up by an unbelievable 31 in the first quarter. The 2nd and 3rd quarters showed a complete collapse in offense leading to a 3 point Romans lead. They managed to get things together enough in the 4th to push OT after a Milan Munding last seconds missed shot, Kodie Cabotage offensive rebound with 5 seconds left. Another timeout, Boyd Brunson shooting and getting fouled with a chance to win, but missing the first free throw. Then OT. Finally with 2 minutes left in overtime, the Paladins found their shot and their defense to beat the Romans for the 10th straight time and move to a league best 9-2. Cabotage led all scores with 31 points and 15 boards.

  • Wolcott Dazzles in Paladin win

    Mauricio Wolcott is far removed from his heydays in League I, but he proved that he could still rack up points in the blink of an eye. He connected on all 4 of his perimeter shots while hitting 14 of 18 from the field for 38 points. The most in his last 7 seasons. The Paladins went on to defeat the Sun Bears 117-91 overcoming a 13 point deficit in the first half. Chitrarath Rotenberry also had a big game scoring 22 with 9 boards in the win. Of note, Alfredo Knowlton was instrumental in the 3rd finishing with 10 boards and 9 points as the veteran saw his most action this season.

    For the Sun Bears, Horatio Rothenbach scored 25 with a career high 16 boards and 5 assists in the loss as the team drops to 0-3 on the season.

  • Grambling and Cabot register Career High 40+ in Spirit Win

    The Spirit registered their 5th straight win in the head-to-head series vs the Razors with Nichalas Cabot and Bergen Grambling registering career highs in the 138-103 win. Cabot scored 41 on 21 shots with 8 assists while last seasons #1 pick Grambling scored 42 on 21 shots. Veteran Aaron Arkell just missed a triple double scoring 12 with 10 boards and 9 assists.

  • Paladins put together complete game for first win of season

    The Paladins came out roaring to a 73-52 lead by halftime, got cold in the 3rd, but managed to hold off the Asteroids in the 4th for the teams first win of the season. The team had 6 players in double figures with Kodie Cabotage scoring 19 points, 12 boards and 7 assists. Volker Knobell scored 17 with 8 assists and 8 rebounds while Rudolf Sothern was a defensive beast allowing just a single field goal while pulling in 13 boards with 7 assists and 13 points to pace the team.

  • Dymoke Sets Club Rebound Record in Loss

    Never known for scoring, Jiovanni Dymoke scored no points, but pulled in a new Urchins record 21 rebounds during the teams season opener against the Romans, his former team. They lost by 23 however in the effort 99-122.

    The Rhinos have signed Jonas Pierre to the team in a deal worth $9,222,500 per season for 1 season.

  • Paladins bury Dragons by 57

    The Paladins beat the Dragons in every way possible scoring 67 points in the first half on their way to a 122 - 65 win. Milan Munding continued his impressive scoring this preseason posting a game-high 29 in 25 minutes. Alfredo Knowlton looked strong with 16 points and 10 boards. He is expected to make a solid impact this season off the bench.
