  • Jim Weddle awarded Future Stars Game MVP

    Jim Weddle was the standout performer during the Future Stars Game tournament. He played 21.6 minutes per game scoring 10.3 PPG, 0.8RPG and 0.8 APG on his way to the award. Now on to the draft to see how his performance will impact his stock in the draft.

  • The Dragons have finally won an FP Basketball title with Nicholas Magdaleno at the helm. They dominated the Paladins and the entire league winning a combined 39 games with just 12 losses total. They bested the Paladins 3 games to nothing.

  • Paladins no match for Dragons

    The Paladins fell 3 straight games to the better team. The Dragons whooped them 102-123 leaving the Paladins championship repeat in smoke. Loyd Alexandria had a great game in the effort with 27 points and 13 rebounds.

  • Magdaleno scorches Paladins for 42

    It was the Nicholas Magdaleno show leading the Dragons to a convincing 116-91 win over the foul troubled Paladins. Magdalenno scored 42 while Isaiah Bivins scored 25 with 11 boards and 4 steals.

  • Dragons light up the Paladins, 1 win from glory

    The Dragons still looked unbeatable winning by 20 points over the Paladins with Nicholas Magdaleno scoring 32 with 7 boards. Antony Knotts scored 22 with 12 rebounds. The team is one win away from its first ever championship.

  • The Dragons and Paladins will meet in the 17th FP Basketball Championship game. The Dragons are by far the favorites and hottest team in the league winning 15 of their last 16 games and appearing in their first championship in team history after a franchise tying best 34-11 regular season record. The reigning champion Paladins have been up and down this season and find themselves once again trying to repeat as champs. This is their 7th title appearance attempting to up their league total to six titles. They are 5-1 lifetime in the finale.

    The Dragons bring Nicholas Magdaleno and Isaiah Bivins as the teams leaders with a slew of solid role players while the Paladins have the tried and tested trio of Mauricio Wolcott, Boyd Brunson, Jamal Gibson and a wealth of veteran experience behind them. The two teams split the season series 2-2.

  • Dragons squeak by Pitbulls to advance!

    The Dragons just barely held off the Pitbulls charge to advance to their first ever league championship 114-112. Lamar Westbrooks played hero scoring 35 points with 5 assists. They will face the Paladins for the league title.

  • Pitbulls bow out after valiant effort

    With 2 seconds left, the Pitbulls failed to convert losing 112-114 to the Dragons to lose the series 1-2. Steve Forney scored 39 in the loss.

  • Paladins Take It!

    The Paladins are back in the championship game after two surprise upset victories over the Ice, this one 117-93. Mauricio Wolcott had an outstanding game scoring 41 points in the victory. They win the series 2-1 and will meet the Dragons/Pitbulls series winner for a chance to repeat their title.

  • Ice succumb to Paladins

    Despite a triple double from Team MVP Floyd Emerton, the Ice failed to reach the title game after two straight losses to the Paladins.

  • Pitbulls Live!

    The Pitbulls pulled off a HUGE win over the Dragons to remain in playoff contention and even the series at 1-1. The Dragons hadn't lost in 14 previous games, but were beaten 95-89. Stephen Forney scored 33 to lead the Pitbulls.

  • Paladins stay alive to force game 3

    The series is tied at one after the Paladins put on a strong showing 122-88 over the Ice to beat them for the first time all season. Boyd Brunson was huge with 44 points and 7 assists while Mauricio Wolcott scored 36 with 6 assists.

  • All Star Selections

    Jay Donati - G, Venom
    Former Rookie MVP Jay Donati had one of the more exciting seasons with a season record 7 triple doubles. He averaged 21.2ppg with 11.8 boards and 6.3apg.

    Nicholas Magdaleno - F, Dragons
    Magdeleno continued his brilliant play with a season scoring over 21ppg and 10 boards leading the Dragons to tie for their best career start.

    Mauricio Wolcott - G, Paladins
    Last seasons League MVP, Mauricio Wolcott was not as consistent as last season, but still winded up as the top ranked guard in the league scoring 23.5ppg, 6.7rpg and 5.8apg for his second straight all-star selection honors.

    Isaiah Bivins - G, Dragons
    A second straight all-star selection for Isaiah Bivins who has proved himself to be one of the best in the league. He scored over 22ppg with 6.8rpg alongside Nicholas Magdaleno.

    Clarence Wertz - F, Spikers
    Clarence Wertz came back strong this season scoring 23.7ppg with 8.8rpg and 4.1apg. This is his second all-star selection.

    Albert Gaskin - G, Rhinos
    With his 5th straight all-star selection, Albert Gaskin proved he is still one of the best in the league on the worst team. He scored 22.7ppg with 7.5rpg and 4.9apg.

    Nice Smith - F, Pitbulls
    Easily the worst season since his rookie debut scoring just 21.7ppg and 8.8rpg for the former 4-time League MVP. He still did manage to shoot his best from the floor at 51.2% and 46% from downtown. This was his 8th straight all-star selection in as many seasons.

    Jim Weddle - C, Razors
    Number 1 overall pick Jim Weddle dominated his position to take Rookie MVP and is now quickly known as the best center in the league. He scored 16.4ppg with 11rpg and 1.3bpg. He will have the distinction of being the first Razor to be selected as an all-star.

    Boyd Brunson - G, Paladins
    Once again Brunson leads the league in scoring with a career high 26.7ppg and 5.7apg. This is his 4th straigh all-star nod.

    Berry Jernigan - C, Clash
    Jernigan proved how valuable he was after returning from injury. He scored 15.6ppg with 6.9rpg for his 4th all-star selection in 7 seasons.

    Honorable Selections

    Hasheem Halim - F, Clash
    Halim proved he could do it with virtually no help all season. He notched over 20ppg with 8.7rpg and 1.7spg. This is his 12th all-star selection in 14 seasons.

    Jamal Gibson - F, Paladins
    Jamal Gibson is back for his 2nd all-star selection in 4 seasons. The former #1 pick scored 22.9ppg while again leading the league at 42.3mpg playing time.

    Floyd Emerton - G, Ice
    Back with a new team and a 12th all-star selection in 13 seasons. Emerton was the catalyst behind the teams successful regular season scoring 16.7ppg with a career high 8.5rpg and 4.9apg while shooting 54% from the floor.

    Jarred Ringgold - F, Spirit
    Ringgold seems long overdue for an all-star selection, but finally puts up career highs with 21.7ppg and 7.6rpg for his first all-star nod.

    Steve Ohara - G, Spikers
    One of the more solid seasons for the Spikers veteran guard scoring 24.6ppg. This is his 4th all-star selection in 9 seasons.

  • Dragons pull off 13 game win streak to end season

    The Dragons looked unbeatable, and they have been for now a League record 13 straight games with their 111-98 win over the Clash. The team ties its franchise best 34 win season and will take that into the playoffs to face the Pitbulls whom they hold a 3-1 advantage over this season.

  • Skates returns in win for last game

    The Venom rallied in the 4th period to pull a 115-106 win out over the Spikers with Blaine Skates who has now only played the first and last game of the season scoring a team high 27 points with 9 boards. Soon-to-be MVP Jay Donati just missed his 8th season triple double scoring 23 points, 10 boards and 9 assists.

  • Razors close out season with a bang

    The Razors mounted a 135-104 beatdown of the Gryphons to end the season which was a franchise high in points. Rookie Anibal Mackie had his 3rd triple double of the season with 14 assists and points and 15 boards while soon-to-be Rookie MVP Jim Weddle scored a career high 29 points with 11 boards. Elliott Swickard finished off his season with a career high 31 points with 10 boards.

  • Ice snag guaranteed 2nd spot in playoffs

    With a convincing 123-87 win over the Venom, the Ice eclipse their franchise best with 29 wins and a second spot going into the playoffs to face either the Paladins or Pitbulls. Raymond Gradney had a huge day with 42 poitns and 12 assists.

  • Officially Out

    The expansion team has officially missed out of the playoffs in their first season after a loss to the Spirit 95-99. The team was as high as 4th place in the standings not long ago, but suffered several defeats leading up to the final game set.

  • Make it 11 Straight!

    The team upped their franchise and league best win total to 11 straight knocking off the #2 team Ice 104-85 in what could be a championship match preview. The Dragons have now guaranteed themselves the #1 spot in the playoffs for the second time in franchise history. The Dragons evened the series 2-2 for the season.

  • Ice set Franchise best 28 wins

    With 4 games left, the Ice set the franchise record with 28 wins with a 113-93 win over the Spikers. They have won 5 in a row and 15 of the last 17.

  • Critical loss for Razors

    The Razors dropped their season worst 4th straight loss to the Clash 108-110. The loss will have them on a steep uphill battle for any playoff hopes. Pedro Wilcoxen led all scores with 38 points.

  • Jim Weddle: Front and Center

    Rookie Jim Weddle has answered the leagues need for a dominant center, as there hasn't been true center domination since Norberto Nolan retired. The Razors have built the franchise around the leagues #1 pick and he has the team in real playoff contention surrounded by very solid role players Elliott Swickard, Pedro Wilcoxen and Anibal Mackie.

  • Paladins grab win to end losing streak

    The Paladins have finally ended their 3 game losing streak with a 115-93 win over the Clash. They are in a very close battle with the Razors trying to hold on to the 4th spot in the standings. League point leader Boyd Brunson scored 40 in the win.

  • A Cursed Season

    The Pitbulls lost star player Alfredo Knowlton for the season in a 78-98 third straight loss to the Venom. The team is 7-9 after starting an incredible 18-5 suffering injury after injury. The team will battle just to make it into the playoffs now.

  • The Dragons prove their dominance

    With a huge win over the current champ Paladins 129-110, the Dragons reached their 7th straight win and prove they are a no joke team. Isaiah Bivins, Nicholas Magdaleno and Antony Knotts all put in 30+ points to lead the team.

  • Seven Triple Doubles for Donati!

    For the third time in 4 games Jay Donati has pitched a triple double, this time scoring 22 with 11 boards and 9 assists in a 103-101 win over the Spirit. He has now added to his record 7 triple doubles in a season.

  • Titans line up, Dragons win out

    The two top teams squared off with the Dragons coming away victorious 98-95 to take the season series 3-1. The Dragons have now won 5 straight games.

  • Ice score huge win over Paladins

    The Ice notched their 4th win of the season over the defending champions 101-96 putting them 3rd in the standings and dropping the Paladins to 4th. Raymond Gradney led scores with 31 points, 8 boards, 5 assists and 4 steals.

  • Razors continue dominance over Urchins

    The Razors beat the Urchins for the 4th time in 4 matches for the two new franchises. Elliot Swickard led the team with 24 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists.

  • Donati Double!

    Jay Donati notched his record 6th triple double of the season scoring 21 points with 10 boards and 10 assists in a 109-100 win over the Clash. Kyle Dulaney scored 28 points with 17 boards in the win.

  • Back in the saddle

    Mauricio Wolcott returned from injury to lead the Paladins to a 108-85 win over the Rhinos and end the 4 game losing streak. He scored 27 points with 9 boards and 9 assists. Boyd Brunson scored 32 with 6 steals.

  • Triple Doubles galore for Donati

    Jay Donati marked his 5th triple double game of the season scoring 24 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists defeating the Spikers 99-94.

  • Ice Alive!

    The Ice have now won 11 of 12 and very much in the playoff picture after struggling to start the season. They defeated the Spirit 99-94 with Justin Olive putting in a season high 42 points with 6 assists.

  • Magdaleno is big in Dragons win

    The Dragons put away the Spikers 104-98 with Nicholas Magdaleno scoring 23 points and pulling in 18 boards. The Dragons hit a perfect 21 for 21 from the line. The team is in the thick of things for the standings lead with the Pitbulls and Paladins.

  • Bustamante hits the half century mark

    Fred Bustamante almost single handedly dessimated the Pitbulls 102-84 scoring half the teams points for a career high 51. He is on course to have the highest ppg for a rookie since Amos Halter scored 31ppg in season one. He currently has an avg of 26ppg. He leads the league with 13 30+ point games.

  • Pitbulls finally get over on the Paladins

    It was the battle of the crippled standing leaders with the Pitbulls missing two starters and the Paladins having two of their top starters in Mauricio Wolcott and Jamal Gibson hurt and ejected early. The Pitbulls were able to hold on 90-83 for their first win over the Paladins this season.

  • Ice 7 game win streak ends

    The Ice struggled against the Spikers losing 107-117 finally losing for the first time in 8 games. They are still in the thick of things for the 4th playoff spot.

  • Donati pushes Venom over Urchins

    Jay Donati had another terrific game scoring 29 points with 17 boards, 5 assists and 3 blocks in a 19 point win over the Urchins. Kyle Dulaney had 18 boards and 11 points.

  • Things get worst

    The Pitbulls barely survived their 5th straight loss by defeating the Gryphons coming from behind 89-85. Along the way however they lost all-star Cary Ewing for the season remainder. Starting center Ferris Hronek remains hurt for the next 10 contests.

  • MVP! MVP!

    Those are the standard chants now heard throughout Venom nation as Jay Donati leads the list of MVP candidate voting. He is having a phenomenal season despite the team cruising to its worst record possibly ever. Donati has taken the team on his shoulders now that Blaine Skates is missing the entire season scoring over 21ppg, over 12rpg, over 6 assists per game and nearly 2 steals per. He would become the first Venom player to ever win the League MVP title.

  • Brunson and Wolcott pick up slack big time

    Jamal Gibson left a big hole to fill serving a two game suspension, but that was nothing that Boyd Brunson and Mauricio Wolcott weren't up to the task for... Combined they scored 80 points and 17 assists leading the team to victory over the Venom 124-101.

  • Freehling scores 35 to lead Spirit over Pitbulls

    The Spirit are the latest team to trample over the Pitbulls winning by 10 with center Stewart Freehling scoring a game and career high 35 and pulling in 10 boards in the win.

  • Ice Win 6th Straight

    The last time the Ice won this many games in a row, they were runners up for the championship in the 15th season. They have already matched their win total of last season and are now positioned in 4th place in the standings after beating their key threat Razors 121-99.

  • Donati puts in unprecedented 4th triple double of season

    Jay Donati led the Venom to a huge 98-93 win over the Pitbulls scoring 14 points with 10 assists and rebounds for his 4th triple double of the season and 5th of his career.

  • Clash in tough spot with both centers out

    The game after all-star center Berry Jernigan went down, down goes former all-star Bennie Stock in a 88-105 loss to the Gryphons. Both centers will miss the next 7 games for the Clash. The losses easily jeopordizes any chance of playoff hopes. Veteran Alexander Sibly will fill in at the starting position.

  • Paladins score key win over Dragons

    The Paladins prevented themselves from falling to 3rd place in the standings by defeating the Dragons 103-97 despite Jamal Gibson fouling out early in the game. Boyd Brunson his league lead in scoring with 32 and 7 assists.

  • Pitbulls drop two straight

    For the first time this season the Pitbulls have suffered defeat twice in a row, this time to the hands of the Clash 89-111.

  • Paladins end the bleeding

    The Paladins 19th win came on a 110-92 rout of the Spikers to end their 3 game slide. Jamal Gibson was huge with 37 points, 12 boards while Mauricio Wolcott scored 25 with 11 boards and 8 assists. Boyd Brunson scored 33 with 8 assists.

  • Bustamante scores 4th straight 30+ point game

    The Urchins easily handled the Rhinos 117-97 with Rookie MVP candidate Fred Bustamante stealing the show scoring his 4th straight 30+ point game and 10th of the season. He ranks 2nd in the league with 25.5ppg.

  • Spirit finally end losing streak

    After 6 straight losses Jarred Ringgold finally came through with a brilliant performance for the Spirit with 25 points and 16 boards. The Spirit beat the Clash 98-88.

  • Dragons demolish Pitbulls by 29

    In his 5th season, Lamar Westbrooks is having his best with his first triple double, 20 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists to lead the Dragons over the Pitbulls 103-74 to take the season series lead 2-1.

  • Gryphons end 8 game slide

    The Gryphons worst losing streak in 10 seasons is over with a 97-87 win over the Spikers. The team had previously lost 8 straight games. Marion Pavy led the team with 23 points and 13 boards.

  • Donati notches double double

    Jay Donati continued his impressive League MVP type season scoring 21 points with a career high 22 boards and 7 assists. The team dropped another game 101-111 to the Clash however.

  • Ewing's triple double puts Pitbulls back into win column

    Carey Ewing scored 23 points with 14 rebounds and 10 assists for his first career triple double to lead the Pitbulls back into the win column 114-112 over the Spikers. Nice Smith also had a big day with 37 points and 9 rebounds.

  • Spikers spoil Ringgolds return

    Jarred Ringgold returned to the lineup after missing 9 games leading the team to a 24 point lead at the half scoring 22 points in the game. However the Spikers rallied to a 41 point 4th period to beat the Spirit 97-103.

  • Razors score major upset win over Paladins

    The Razors outlasted the Paladins 114-106 to defeat the Champion team for the first time in the young franchises history. This boosts the Razors into prime position for making the playoffs. Rookie MVP candidate Jim Weddle scored 22 points with 12 boards in the win.

  • Bustamante scores career high 38 in loss

    Rookie MVP candidate Fred Bustamante put in a career high 38 to lead the Rhinos, but it wasn't enough to get them by the top ranked Paladins dropping the game 99-105.

  • Paladins squeak out tough win over Urchins

    On their way to defeating the Urchins 105-99, Boyd Brunson scored 40, while Mauricio Wolcott put in 28 with 7 boards and 6 assists to lead the team.

  • Wertz / Ohara combine for 69 again... lose again

    It seems scoring is the least of the issues for the two big men for the Spikers as Clarence Wertz scores 42 while Steve Ohara has 27 in a 116-128 loss to the Clash.

  • Critics answered... Spikers still lose

    It has been vehemently said that Clarence Wertz and Steve Ohara do not work well together... they answered with a combined 69 points with Wertz scoring 39 and 10 rebounds, but still fell to the Dragons 115-121.

  • Donati puts up 3rd triple double of season in win

    Jay Donati had his best game of the season scoring 24 points with 13 boards and 12 assists. His 3rd triple double of the season and 4th of his career as the team beat the Rhinos 99-78. Donati is fast becoming one of the favorites as a League MVP candidate.

  • Mackie notches 2nd triple double

    Anibal Mackie tossed the second triple double of his rookie career scoring 13 points, a career high 16 boards and 10 assists to lead the Razors over the Spirit 108-81.

  • Pitbulls bounce back with win over Urchins

    The Pitbulls outrebounded the Urchins 61-31 while hitting 11-17 from downtown on their way to a 103-81 victory over the Urchins. Nice Smith scored 24 points with 19 boards to lead the team.

  • Dragons dismantle Ice 139-106

    The Dragons scored 42,42 and 33 in the last periods of the game on their way to a 33 point win over the Ice who lost Floyd Emerton and Fred Koontz in the process. Lamar Westbrooks dished 15 assists with 23 points and 8 boards while Isaiah Bivins had 39 points with 7 boards and Nicholas Magdaleno chipped in 27 points with 13 boards.

  • Rhinos snap 7 game losing streak

    Darius Aldape put in a 34 point, 7 assist performance to lift the Rhinos over the Clash 95-91 and end the teams 7 game losing skid. This was the Rookie MVP's second highest point total of the season.

  • Don't Call it a Rebirth

    As many critics counted Floyd Emerton out as hanging on a career thread, he has forced them and opponents to take notice that he is still a force to be reckoned with. After 9 seasons at the helm of the Gryphons dynasty, Emerton is now heading up a hopefull resurgence for the Ice after 2 seasons with 17 or less wins, which came after 5 straight seasons of playoff berths. He is having his best season out of the previous 5 seasons with a career high 9.5 rebounds, a stat that the Ice have been sorely needing. He joins Justin Olive, Fred Koontz and Raymond Gradney as the Ice try to once again rally themselves into league contention.

  • Magdaleno rips Rhinos for 41

    Continuing his impressive season, Nicholas Magdaleno led the Dragons to a 123-108 win over the Rhinos with Magdaleno scoring 41 with 15 boards. The team hit an amazing 30 for 33 free throws in the win.

  • Paladins prove best in wild game over the Pitbulls

    In what everyone called the championship preview game, the two best teams slugged it out with the Paladins once again getting the better of the Pitbulls 110-104. Boyd Brunson put up a game high 42 points to lead all scores in the win. The Paladins became the only team to score over 100 points on the Pitbulls this season.

  • Paladins pull out victory over Spirit

    Mauricio Wolcott continued his impressive season scoring 31 points, 7 boards and 9 assists in the victory.

  • Gaskin back in the saddle, another Rhinos loss

    Albert Gaskin played nearly 48 minutes in the overtime 106-116 loss to the Spikers despite scoring 33 points, 10 boards and 7 assists.

  • McMillen records monster day in win

    Steve McMillen scored 25 by half and 42 total including 7 boards, 6 assists and 5 steals in a 103-76 win over the Gryphons. The win comes the game before Tommy Carden will finally return to the lineup.

  • Clash pull huge upset over Paladins

    Behind Hasheem Halim's 31 points, the Clash staved off a late Paladins charge to win 99-97.

  • Paladins win big game over Dragons

    The Paladins evened the series at 1-1 with the Dragons after defeating them 100-92 for the first time this season. Loyd Alexandria had a big game with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

  • Pitbulls huge over the Venom

    The Pitbulls found their 5th straight win outrebounding the Venom 58-28 for a 107-81 win. Alfredo Knowlton led the team with 37 points and 11 boards in the win.

  • Razors prove themselves as impact team

    Led by center Jim Weddle, the Razors have proven themselves playoff contenders putting up a franchise high 125 points to beat the Ice by 33. Jim Weddle scored 24 points with 14 boards while Pedro Wilcoxen had 34 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists.

  • Paladins streak ends

    The Paladins dropped their first game in 9 105-110 to the Ice. Boyd Brunson led the team with 34 points in the win.

  • Olive leads charge over Paladins

    Justin Olive and Co handed the Paladins their first loss in 9 games pulling away in the last minutes 110-105. Olive scored 38 while Floyd Emerton had 17 with 8 assists.

  • Mackie logs a triple double in win

    Rookie Anibal Mackie tossed in his first career triple double scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the Razors 113-98 over the Urchins.

  • Magdaleno has Dragons where he wants

    In Nicholas Magdaleno's second season leading the Dragons he looks like he just may have got it right. The team is keeping up with the big boys of the league as they look to make the playoffs for the first time in 4 seasons. Magdaleno is having a career season scoring 23.5ppg with 10.1rpg while playing 43.3mpg. If he can continue on at this pace the Dragons should have no problem contending for the title especially with role players like Isaiah Bivins, Guadalupe Hanley and Antony Knotts.

  • Paladins win 6 straight

    The Paladins are looking like the champions they are with Mauricio Wolcott scoring 33 points with 17 boards to lead the team 106-70 over the Urchins.

  • Bland comes through for Spikers

    In an up and down season for the Spikers, Benton Bland came through big with 29 points and 15 boards to lead the team 105-93 over the Clash.

  • Ringgold lifts Spirit over Razors

    Jarred Ringgold played a career best game scoring 37 points with 11 rebounds and 6 blocks to lead the Spirit over the Razors 101-90.

  • Alberto Gaskin making a case for leagues best

    Albert Gaskin is probably the best least known player in the league, mainly due to playing with the chronically bad Rhinos team. He scored 40 points with 10 boards and 9 assists in the teams win over the Clash 114-95 and currently leads the league in League MVP votes.

  • Urchins end 5 game skid behind Fred Bustamante

    Rookie of the season candidate Fred Bustamante broke out big with 37 points and 7 assists to end the Urchins 5 game losing streak to the Spirit with a 97-80 win.

  • Paladins reign supreme over Pitbulls

    It was a big time showdown in the league with the two top ranked teams squaring off. The Paladins came out big on top 92-78 over the Pitbulls to win their 4th straight contest. The team is now 7-0 when Mauricio Wolcott is in the game this time out scoring 24 points with 8 rebounds and 7 assists.

  • Is this the season for Smith?

    The Pitbulls are off to a phenomenal start despite losing their huge draft pick Ferris Hronek. Nice Smith and the team came up short last season losing in the first round of the playoffs. Nice Smith is off to a great start this season, and if the team can stay healthy, it should be the championship for the Pitbulls to take.

  • Nice Smith leads Pitbulls to 7-1 start

    The Pitbulls demolished the Gryphons 124-84 with Nice Smith scoring 40 points with 14 boards to lead the team. Cary Ewing chipped in 16 points with 13 assists and no turnovers.

  • Aldape leads Rhinos to second win

    The Pitbulls 95-91 win over the Clash came at a cost losing rookie standout center Ferris Hroneck for almost the entire season.

  • Gryphons get squashed by a record 48 points

    The Gryphons scored a franchise low 53 points, the second least points scored by a team since the Pitbulls scored 53 way back when. The team now falls to 104 after thier 48 point loss to the Dragons.

  • Urchins get first franchise win over Rhinos

    Rookies Keith Dunworth, Fred Bustamente and Carl Seely led the expansion franchise to their first win 107-105 over the Rhinos on a last second shot. Fred Bustamente led the team with 32 points, while Dunworth scored 31 with 7 assists. Carl Seely added 15 points with 14 boards.

  • Halim keeps Clash perfect

    Hasheem Halim scored 37 points with 8 rebounds to lead the Clash to a 107-93 win over the Spirit and keep the team the only team without a loss so far this season.

  • Emerton puts up triple double in Ice win

    The Ice handed the Paladins their first loss of the season 109-74 with Floyd Emerton scoring 14 points with 11 rebounds and 10 assists in the win. The Paladins had lost League MVP Marucio Wolcott early on the game.

    As expected the Razors got the upper hand against the Urchins winning the expansion game 124-110. Anibal Mackie was the key scoring 41 points with 9 assists in the win.

    17 season vet Fred Koontz proved he is still very dangerous following up last seasons career best 50+ point game with a 47 point game to lead the Ice over the Gryphons 118-92.

  • Spirit notch first win behind McMillen and Carden

    The Spirit jumped all over the Spikers to take the game 121-89 with season assist record holder Steve McMillen dishing 12 and scoring 32 with Tommy Carden making his first big splash for his former team scoring 29 with 11 rebounds.
