Palifika sets assist record in loss
Rookie Kevan Palifka has been part of the reason the Tigers are one of the top teams in the league right now, coming short of their 7th straight win with a loss to the top ranked Rhinos 137-120. Palifka set a new league record dishing out 18 assists in the effort to go along wih 21 points and 8 boards. He was drafted just #47 in the expansion draft, but is the top player on his team right now averaging 7.7apg and 17ppg.
In the win, Steven Forney has really come into his own shining among the plethera of talent the Rhinos have at guard. He led the team with 36 points, 10 boards and 8 assists and has been the most consistent player for the team despite starting just 14 of his 21 games this season. He already has tied his career high of 4 double-doubles in a season, and is a main reason the Rhinos are leading the league with a 15-6 record.

It was a vintage performance for the first ever pick in LeagueHut Basketball. The 19 season veteran, Rudolph Jackson scored 28 points with 8 rebounds to lead the Gryphons over the previously undefeated Rhinos 109-106. Albert Gaskin had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but missed a three pointer. He finished with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Aaron Arkell scored 23 points with 10 assists and 7 boards off the bench while Steven Forney scored 26 with 6 boards and 5 assists during his second start.

Rhinos mount impressive victory over Edge
For the second straight season, the Rhinos start out 3-0, last season finishing just out of playoff contention at 28-17. They beat the Edge 117-86. Albert Gaskin continued to impress with 27 points, 8 assists and 5 boards while Steven Forney got the start over Aaron Arkell scoring 11 points with 8 boards and 4 assists. This was rookie of the season and reigning team MVP Arkell's first career missed start scoring 7 in 19 minutes as the Rhinos figure to rotate among their 4 very capable guards which include former league MVP Blaine Skates who scored 7 points in his 4 minutes of garbage time.
