The Spikers have gone 15-6 to end the season and take the 3rd spot in the playoffs capping off the franchises best season. Their previous best had them only winning 21 games. This is also their first playoff appearance and they will face off against the Spirit who won the season series 3-2. Fittingly their saviour (and former Spirit) Teddy Dingmann was the games hero as they beat the Dragons 114-99. Dingmann scored 39 points with 9 rebounds in the game.

Dingmann hit a career best 17 field goals on 31 attempts scoring 43 points to lead the Spikers over the Pitbulls 106-92. Santos Ballard also scored 28 points with 8 rebounds while Michel Dennison grabbed 15 rebounds. The team outrebounded the Vrabless Pitbulls 53-30.
