At 4-1, the Spikers are one of the surprise teams thus far this season. Granted, their opponents were the struggling Edge, Venom, Clash, Ice and Gryphons, but to be ahead of those teams puts the Spikers up a category. Steve Ohara has proven that he can still ball with the best of them scoring 22 points with 7 assists and averaging over 23ppg. Benton Bland put up a double-double with 18 and 10 as the team beat the Clash 95-86.
